BUT... 'All deposits received before April 6 2007, that have since been renewed or become statutory periodic tenancies on or after April 6 2007'....this is still only a small percentage. Only those that became a periodic on or after the date, ie those that were set up in the six months prior, 6/10/06 onwards, those before this became a periodic before 6th April so lets not confuse this. I have had loads of Landlords being told register but this is not the case.
