Drum roll, lights dimmed, music…

If the excitement of yesterday’s Allagents awards on Estate Agent Today didn’t get you, maybe it’s because you’re not into sales.

However, today’s list is just for you.

As you can see, Ludlow Thompson rules the lettings roost, the big chains are conspicuous by their absence, and the franchise list of winners is particularly interesting as it is a clean sweep for Xperience agents.

So here, without further ado, are the comparison site’s awards for letting agents:

    "silliest" !

Well, can YOU tell me the NAMES of these reviewers?
(probably not as you use none yourself)

    @ Ray Evans
" just who are the reviewers"

That has got to be one of the silliest questions [regarding a customer review website]I have ever seen on LAT!

    Please read my post again.
My point is that to make the process worthwhile as a minimum the reviewers names & email addresses should be recorded to prevent multiple reviews from the same source... Are they?

I am a firm believer in what Allagents have achieved within the industry in such a short period.

Yes it doesn't have the same exposure that RM or zoopla has, however that's not to say that it won't grow virally.

They have an excellent business model that is making their site become more like an industry social networking site. I mean other than facebook or twitter, I mean I am not aware many other sites that letting agents wish to link their front page to.

A big congrats to all the current winners and a big congrats to Allagents for providing a service like this for free.

I wasn't aware of this award, however I think its a great idea to have an award based on customer ratings. I'm surprised its taken so long for someone to come up with it

    @Ray Evans

Having been at the NALS conference today, it certainly appears that the letting awards have been arguably the hottest topic for discussion today. So to say they are flawed in my opinion is a justification for not winning.

These awards are based on your on what your customers think of you and your services. I that means little to you then your in the wrong business.

    Just WHO are the reviewers?

In my view the process is flawed and the results mean very little.

A big congratulations to all award winners. This really is fantastic news to the industry. To get award based on customer ratings and reviews that are independent and not influenced by by the corporates has got to get my thumbs up. And no, we never won an award (late starter, however there is always next year), but the principle behind all this can only help improve the industries perception.

Allagents. We still don't know who they are, or where they are. They invite agents to write reviews about them, but when you get to the review page it is renamed "testimonials", and of course it's all five-star and glowing. Talk about cherry picking! Are we really to believe that no one has ever written a bad word, or made a dissatisfied comment, about Allagents on their review/testimonial page?

However, I doubt that Allagents care one way or the other about their dissatisfied customers. Shame, they could learn a lot from people like Steve Harriott.

They are also in desperate need of a proofreader!

    Morgan Randall = Gold

Don't make me laugh! Once did an interview with them and to say their practices where questionable would be an understatement.

Was never as delighted to not get a call back in my life. Probably because I was too honest for them!!!

This is based on reviews, which we already know are not properly monitored and therefore completely meaningless.
Allagents are the new ARLA...don't make me laugh.

Have you not figured it out yet.

"the big chains are conspicuous by their absence"

Could it be that they couldn't care less because they think it is a non-event and means nothing, unless the customer reviews include the name of the reviewer?

    Cynical Dinosaur.

In anticipation of the envious dinosaurs spewing their cynical vitreol I'd like to get in first and offer many congrats to all at Ludlow Thompson - an excellent operator - and all the other winners for that matter!
It's nice to see that despite the headline grabbers there are many excellent ( typically independently owned) Letting Agents that are doing a great job for their customers.
