They’ve sky-dived, swum the equivalent of the English Channel, held parties, organised charity golf matches and gone on sponsored runs and bike rides.

And the result is an amazing £10,861 raised by Belvoir agents for Macmillan Cancer Support.

What’s more, they’ve reached their target with five months to spare, and with many offices still planning fundraising events, this total is expected to grow.

Reena Patel, marketing manager for Belvoir, said: “We are thrilled and very proud that Belvoir franchise owners have achieved so much in just seven months.

“This is the first time that Belvoir has aligned itself with a national charity, and our campaign launched with a Go Green Day on February 1.

“We initially gave ourselves one year to raise £10,000 for Macmillan, which is an amazing charity as it provides so much help and support to cancer victims, carers, families and friends.

“As well as helping Macmillan we wanted to involve Belvoir franchise owners in a campaign that would really unite the group and give us a common goal to work towards. I am delighted that Belvoir franchise owners and staff have risen to the challenge.”

The entire project has been coordinated by Ellie Wallis at Belvoir’s central office.

"They’ve sky-dived, swum the equivalent of the English Channel, held parties, organised charity golf matches and gone on sponsored runs and bike rides" All while the Belvoir Franchisee in Norwich stole £145,000 of their clients money. Perhaps they'd have been better off properly policing their businesses rather than trying to be seen as corporate do-gooders.

    Charity begins at home!
