Countrywide is not the only one buying – Connells has also been on a shopping spree of letting agents.
The group has announced the acquisition of Temples in Diss, Norfolk, and Roberts in Great Barr, Birmingham.
The news comes hot on the heels of the Group’s announcement in November that it plans to double the size of its lettings network in the next two years through a programme of new branch openings and acquisitions.
Connells Group has also recently acquired Soul Residential, an independent lettings and property management agency based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.
Lettings managing director Stephen Nation said: “As well as these acquisitions and the new lettings branches we have opened so far, we have a very exciting programme of branch openings planned for 2014.
“Demand for rental property continues to increase across all areas of the UK so now is the ideal time to grow our lettings business and we have planned for rapid expansion in the coming months.”
