Looking for a move into the lettings sector If so, ARLA has launched one of six new online jobs boards aimed at making it easier to switch employment within the industry.

ARLA and the other five divisions of the National Federation of Property Professionals has launched a new online board, listing jobs specific to their sector. The aim is to simplify advertising and applications in specialist sectors such as estate agency, letting agency, auctioneering and valuing, commercial business transfer agency and international property.

The new job boards are free to individuals looking for work and stand out from existing commercial job search sites because they are specific to this industry.

Users can set up job alerts so they are notified when an appropriate vacancy fitting their skills is advertised. There is also scope for users to create a so-called jobseeker profile' with anonymous CV details so that employers can assess those looking for a move.

Employers have to pay to use the service: to post details of a vacancy, subscribe to see vacancies advertised throughout the sector, and for viewing individuals CVs, the price is £149. Employers can also restrict applications to only those who are qualified, using an online filter.

The service is open to members of NFoPP'S divisions (the NAEA, ARLA, NAVA, APIP and AIPP); non-member employers can use it for an additional cost.
