easyProperty, the new online estate agency from easyJet founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, will launch on September 15.

It will initially focus on the lettings market, offering what it calls a pick and mix' range of services such as photography, viewings, deposit handling and tenancy agreements.

What it calls an unbundled pricing model', which has been pioneered by the easyGroup, offers landlords the choice as to what services they do or do not want.

Robert Ellice, CEO of easyProperty, says the service bridges the gap between what estate agents currently offer and what consumers want; a transparent, convenient and cost effective service that gives them complete control.

The site says it will only charge a minimal fee for signing tenancy agreements in comparison to the hundreds of pounds often charged by some high street agents - tackling head-on an increasingly volatile argument that exists inside and outside the industry about agents' fees.

The site also says that, unlike some other online agents, all listed prices will include VAT.

A full range of services will be revealed at the September lettings launch, while a sales service is expected to launch in 2015.

hahaha 'unbundled pricing model' - so like our bespoke product where a landlord can choose exactly which one or combination of our services he wants to use. Sorry, Stelios, we like hundreds of others are there way before you.

Megan I couldn't agree more with you. Letting a property out for a Landlord (whether residential/accident or an investor) requires a long term relationship with a professional company with extremely high standards to be successful. I am not saying that the Easy group are not professional but they are "no-frills" - completely the opposite of what is required in this industry.

In my opinion this is a marketing disaster. I am sure it will work in terms of letting properties but I wonder what kind of properties/Landlords it will attract Our agency has extremely high standards and we flatly refuse to take on sub-standard properties as they only attract sub-standard tenants and are a complete pain to manage. Good luck "easyproperty" and I look forward to hearing the news that Stelios has sacked the dim-whit in his organisation who cooked up this idea. A better opportunity with more prospect of success for the Easy group would have perhaps been to open a burger chain "Easyburger" :D

This article is written as though "easy" will be the first ever letting agent to offer an "unbundled pricing model" which in fact they are not. My wife's company have been offering this facility to landlords for months and they're probably not the only ones.

Sorry, but I just can't see how cheap flights and property should have anything to do together. EasyJet is not exactly synonymous with quality. People are willing to fly easyjet because it's only a few hours, so its worth getting on the cheap. They're one of those, you get what you pay for companies. I couldn't imagine that anyone would would buy a house from them. Yes it may be cheap, but as they say, price and value are two very different things.
