Real Lettings, a social enterprise set up by homelessness charity Broadway, has joined the London Landlord Accreditation Scheme (LLAS). The scheme is designed to raise standards in the private rented sector.

Nikki Cottrell, manager of Real Lettings, said: “At Real Lettings we believe that it’s important to be a responsible landlord.

“We expect our tenants to pay their rent on time and to look after our properties, but as landlords we also have our own responsibilities to uphold, particularly when it comes to repairs and maintenance.”

Real Lettings helps people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness secure quality and affordable homes in the private rented sector and is currently looking for properties to lease from landlords across London and the immediate areas.

Landlords who lease their properties to Real Lettings are provided with a comprehensive service that includes a guaranteed monthly rent, no voids, a full property management service and minor maintenance taken care of for free.

    Good Luck Real Lettings

I worked in something similar and it has worked really well with over 350 families housed in the private sector who would otherwise be in B&B. We formed fantastic relationships with landlords and they were happy to pay a fair price for a professional service.

I hope it works for you and helps homeless singles and families into good quality private sector housing.
