The best UK lettings agent was Martin & Co’s Haywards Heath branch, followed by Purple Property in Morecambe, and Sewell & Gardner.
Martin & Co also scooped the award for best large lettings chain in the country, with silver going to Countrywide. Martin & Co boss Ian Wilson was also delighted that altogether, his business scooped an additional 11 regional awards, whilst Carole Bazzoni, Martin & Co franchise owner at Andover, Hampshire, won a highly commended trophy for individual performance.
Wilson said that the ESTA awards meant a great deal as they had been voted on by customers: “The amount of effort in obtaining this feedback from our landlords is not to be under-estimated,” he said. “It is really important to recognise not only the offices that secured regional recognition but many others took part and their results were invluble in contribuing to our national gold award.
“Throughout the letting industry, there is a constant need to improve customer service and these are the only awards that recognise just that. Word of mouth and customer satisfaction are powerful marketing tools.”

KDH!! Now there's a name from the distant past. I thought he was mincing around london somewhere.
I worked for him for a while before he 'left' Milton Keynes, not my finest moment I have to say. I think his exploits have been advertised widely enough on the inter web and Private Eye without me adding anything new.

"Martin & Co. has added four new staff to its Head Office team in Bournemouth. Martin & Co’s in-house recruitment team helped with the placements, taking its tally of staff recruited for to over 100 in the past 12 months.
Kevin Davidson-Hall and Gary Winter have joined the firm with Natasha Lear and James Leigh. Kevin will provide support for the London offices and will help expand operations in the Capital. Gary has joined as Sales Director and will be optimising enquiries through the website"
Davidson Hall has a bit of a history with the non payment of rents and deposits in his previous roles, suprised that Martin & Co didn't look a bit deper into his history. Bit of a charactoer is the big man, legend in his own lunchtime, lol
I wonder if they will win the top awards at the Allagents customer review awards
My experiences of Martin & Co, have been VERY poor, with the rent being paid by the tenantts & then not being passed on to me as a landlord..Ian Wilson & head office not the slightest bit interested in discussing the situation or giving any advice to try & get problem resolved.
50 quid says it could.
So what about Belvoir then?
My personal experience with them wasn't the best I've had as a landlord, in fact it couldn't have been worse, so that's perhaps why they didn't "show"
