Tenants who have smashed up furniture in their previous places or upset neighbours with noisy late night behaviour will soon have no hiding place when they try to rent somewhere else.

A national database, Callcredit’s Tenant ID, is to be launched, and integrated into Lets Safe’s tenancy referencing products.

Lets Safe has partnered with Callcredit Information Group to offer what it is calling the most innovative and competitive tenant vetting service on the market.

It will start by integrating Callcredit’s credit checking service, CallReport, which is claimed to be both fast and accurate.

Clients can ‘white label’ the service seamlessly into their own websites, or they can opt for the interface which is accessible from both desktops and mobile devices, speeding up the tenant vetting process.

The Callcredit data searches enable Lets Safe’s clients to make smart and informed decisions based on the high quality information they receive.

Lets Safe says it will be further strengthening the level of insight they can offer their clients by integrating Callcredit’s TenantID, although the date for the launch has yet to be announced.

Tom Dutton, partner at Lets Safe, said: “Our product is now capable of being extremely scaleable and we’ve already had overwhelming interest from letting agents who haven’t been satisfied with some of the other vetting companies out there.”
