Mydeposits Northern Ireland is offering half price deposit protection fees in April to encourage early adoption of the new legislation which kicks in on Monday.
Landlords and letting agents in Northern Ireland who pre-register with the scheme before the start of next week will qualify to register up to ten deposit protections at half the published price during April. This could mean a potential saving of up to £75 for landlords and £180 for letting agents.
From April 1, all landlords and letting agents in Northern Ireland who take a deposit from their tenants will be required to protect it within a recognised scheme.
The free offer relates to Mydeposits’ insurance-backed scheme; its custodial scheme is free to use.
