Tenancy referencing firm in expansion mode

Thursday 26th July 2012

New insurance and tenant referencing firm LetRisks has been on a recruitment drive following a rise in demand for its services from agents.

The firm was formed three months ago from the merger of Let Insurance Services and Property Risks, and is headed by Michael Portman.

There are seven new members of staff, two of whom are business development managers.

Tim Harling was originally a letting agent and recently a field-based business development manager at Rent4Sure; prior to that, he worked for Homelet as a key account director.

Richard Dawson joins LetRisks from Homelet where he held the position of acquisition account manager.

Harling will primarily be responsible for the Home Counties region and Dawson for the West Midlands.

A further four appointments have been made across marketing, administration, customer support and service roles.

I wouldn't use a company who's former employees were from the Homelet debacle.

We use UKtenantdata, but I think Directline insurance are after buying them
