One of the West Country’s best known names in property, Stags, has acquired Singer & Singer in Dartmouth.
The firm, which has latterly concentrated more on lettings and property management than sales, was sold by Lesley and Chris Challacombe, who are planning to retire.
Andrew Luxton, partner in charge of Stags residential lettings department, said: “This was an ideal opportunity to allow the establishment of a stand-alone lettings department within our Stags Dartmouth office.
“All the existing staff of Singer & Singer will continue to be employed, including Lynette Gilby who will take on the role as manager. Lesley will also continue to take an active role over the next few months.”
Stags has a network of 19 offices in the South-West.
