This type of emergency will cost around £95 for in hours and £125 out of hours just to diagnose the problem with parts costing anything from around £40 for new RCD's to -£300 plus vat if a new fuse board is needed . An example being, a call was recently made from a tenant that had water coming through the ceiling at 11:30 at night, the experienced call handler was able diagnose over the phone a possible cause directing the tenant to shut off the water supply. A contractor attended identifying and replacing a the auto flush within the toilet system saving the Landlord around £190 as this was covered within the pack. The experience from the call handler was also invaluable from preventing any further damage and expense for the Landlord.
