Gloucester independent lettings agency R M C Hardcastles has been acquired by Martin & Co franchisees Peter and Rani Grieve - their fourth acquisition.
Hardcastles’ portfolio consisted of 110 managed properties, and a lease on more impressive and larger premises.
The Grieves currently operate a Martin & Co business in adjacent premises and will relocate and re-brand the new office in the New Year. The acquisition will take their Gloucester portfolio close to 600 managed properties.
The couple also operate a Worcester office under the CJ Hole brand - as with Martin & Co, this is a brand within The Property Franchise Group family.
“Since we completed our first acquisition in 2014 you could say the bug has well and truly bitten, and we are now serial purchasers of our competitors' businesses. We have received great support from our bank and our franchisor and we still have an appetite for further growth” says Peter Grieve.
