Agency back in lettings, five years after portfolio acquired by Leaders

An independent agency in Gloucestershire is returning to the lettings business to complement its existing sales and land arms.

Perry Bishop and Chambers says lettings services will be available this autumn across its branches at Cheltenham, Cirencester, Stroud, Tetbury and Nailsworth, under the leadership of company director Gavin Wallace.

The company’s previous lettings portfolio was snapped up by Leaders in 2013 but now the independent is returning to the sector.

“Whether you are an existing landlord or have just invested in your first buy-to-let property, you will benefit from the same superior marketing and award-winning* customer service currently enjoyed by people buying and selling with us” Wallace has told the Stroud News & Journal website.

“Our 20 years’ success in the property industry is directly attributable to the values we stand for – integrity, customer service and hard work. These same values will shape our lettings service. Landlords and tenants too will enjoy the very best customer care from our friendly and experienced team, supported by the latest innovation in technology for ease of information and transparency."

I've no doubt Gavin and his team will do a great job in delivering a quality offering from PB&C once again.

I'm sure that Leaders won't have been too chuffed. Even though private landlords are being battered I still feel that running a lettings business beside sales is a good move even though it is far more labour intensive and probably more litigious.
