The Nottinghamshire branch of Martin & Co has snapped up the local independent agency SOLOS Residential.
The family-run Martin & Co branches at Beeston, Nottingham City and Nottingham Hucknall branches - all operated by Martin and Kate Crown and their sons Steven and Tony - now have the 97 lettings properties properties managed by SOLOS.
This takes the Martin & Co local branches’ portfolio to more than 300.
Steven Crown says: “We’re extremely pleased to have completed the acquisition of SOLOS, which is an agency much like our own in that it’s family run and has a similar focus on delivering strong customer service.
The Crown family are heading into their 18th year trading as Martin & Co in Nottinghamshire, after the parents gained experience in financial services.
Martin & Co managing director Louise Griffiths adds: “I’m delighted the Crown family have been able to complete on the acquisition. They’ve enjoyed huge amounts of success in Nottinghamshire since 2001 and this acquisition means almost 100 additional properties and their landlords and tenants will benefit from their superb levels of customer service and family values.”
