Prop Home, a new online property management and lettings agency, pledges to “transform the way rented homes are managed on behalf of landlords.”
Based in Sheffield and run by Paul Harrison and David Wright, with a combined 40 years in property management, the company claims to meet exactly the needs of landlords.
“Landlords are looking for a personal, responsive service backed by a sophisticated online platform which they can access at their convenience giving them all the information they need about their properties” says chief executive Harrison.
“We also offer very competitive rates, as we want to make using our lettings services accessible to everyone from accidental landlords to those with large property portfolios in the UK and overseas.”
Meanwhile Wright, who is chief operating officer, adds: “What we are offering is a really flexible service where landlords have the option of accessing one or two services if they just need a little extra help, right through to a fully managed service where we take care of everything. We will keep our rates low as we don’t have expensive offices in city centre locations.”
Prop Home says its portfolio management service is aimed at professional landlords and is very transparent, especially around fees; tenants will also be able to access some of the platform.
The new service will have three packages - flexible, where landlords pay ad hoc for services; fixed fee, where a monthly management charge is levied, topped up by ad hoc additional services; and fully-managed, for so-called ‘hands-off’ landlords who want all aspects of their properties taken care of.
Harrison has over 25 years in management, development and renovation, and has worked with international property investors who have UK property assets.
Wright has over 15 years in sales, lettings, management and surveying, and trained as a chartered surveyor prior to entering property management.
