The massive Belvoir franchise network has signed up 360 of its franchisees to the PropTech service Kamma.
The franchisees include those under the Belvoir. Northwood, Newton Fallowell, Lovelle and Nicholas Humphreys brands.
A statement from Kamma - which specialises in keeping across private rental sector licensing requirements - says that licensing is changing on average every eight days somewhere in the county, and there were 11 new licensing schemes started in April alone.
At the end of November last year, the total fines for letting agents and landlords in London crossed the £7m mark.
Kamma chief executive Orla Shields explains: “We’re excited to be working with a market leader like Belvoir and offer our licensing compliance services to all their agents across the UK. Belvoir are known for their strong foothold in the property market and Kamma offers to help all Belvoir’s agents with their licencing compliance, all whilst saving them time and resources.”
And a statement from Belvoir adds: “We support any initiative that helps promote compliance for our franchisees and their landlords. With licencing schemes increasing in certain areas of the country, the tool developed by Kamma is a useful addition to ensure maximum compliance.”

Misleading headline! Belvoir franchisees make their own choices, Belvoir UK have struck deals with many companies and organisations. To say that all 360 have signed up is untrue, if I choose to pay to sign up to this latest deal I can, if I don't, I won't.
