Trading Standards links with Rightmove for CPR training for agents

Rightmove has teamed up with the National Trading Standards Estate and Letting Agency Team to create a new course on compliance with the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations, better known as CPRs.

The course has been created with NTSELAT to make sure agents have all the information they need to feel confident in complying with the CPRs.

Emma Cooke, NTSELAT’s policy and information manager, and NTSELAT operations manager Alison Farrar will lead the course, which breaks down what the CPRs are, how they are enforced, and goes through each aspect of the CPRs in a series of short videos for agents.

A section on complying with Material Information Part A is included, and the course will be updated with Parts B and C as soon as they’re announced.

Agents can begin the course and contribute towards their continuing professional development hours here.
