Homelessness charities receive thousands from agents’ carol concert

The Fine & Country Foundation’s Annual Carols by Candlelight concert, held in collaboration with King's College Cambridge, has raised £21,061.

This will go to support charities combatting homelessness and poverty in the Cambridgeshire region.

The concert attracted some 600 people including Fine & Country employees, clientele, local residents, and families of King's College students.

The event's proceeds will be distributed among four charities: Emmaus Cambridge, Jimmy's Cambridge, Wintercomfort, and Cambridge Cyrenians. These organisations play a crucial role in providing vital services to homeless individuals.

Jon Cooke, trustee of the Fine & Country Foundation, says: "Through the support of the Fine & Country network and the public, the foundation has been able to have a positive impact on many people's lives around the globe. The annual carol concert has been a massive contributor towards the money the foundation has raised over the years and has helped support many charities and non-profit organisations in the work they are doing in their communities."

Bravo đź‘Ź. I must say what a great choice of causes.
My fears after reading the headlines that the cash was being fed to that well known corporate business Shelter have been put to rest.
