OnTheMarket launches free accounting functions on lettings platform

OnTheMarket Software, the tech division of the portal’s parent group, has announced the inclusion of client accounting functions in its TecLet lettings and management platform - and this comes at no additional cost to users.

The new functionality will enable agents and property managers to manage core client accounting functions from within the existing TecLet platform, boasting is described as “significant productivity, automation and service improvements”.

Specific benefits mentioned by OTM Software include automated rent arrears management, monthly and annual statements made available in the tenant and landlord document centre, and Debt Respite ‘Breathing Space’ legislation functionality.

The core client accounting facility has been provided by lettings client accounting business LettsPay.

Alan Blockley of OnTheMarket Software says: “The inclusion of client accounting functionality within the TecLet platform at no additional cost is a major step forward, and a huge ‘value add’ for agents and property managers as it provides core client accounting functionality as an included element within the existing TecLet subscription.”

OnTheMarket Software has been a rapidly-expanding aspect of the portal group, as it seeks to become an influential player in the PropTech space.
