Lettings law firm set up by well known industry suppliers

A trio of rent guarantee and referencing services are setting up their own law firm pitched at winning clients from the lettings sector.

HomeLet, Let Alliance are launching what they call a “groundbreaking law firm” called Legal for Lettings. 

A statement says: “With Legal for Lettings, every letting agent and landlord in the UK now has direct access to top-notch legal support, regardless of whether rent guarantee protection is in place. In these challenging times when landlords nationwide are grappling with financial difficulties, Legal for Lettings are delivering an invaluable service backed by unparalleled expertise.”

The three firms say their law arm will “disrupt the status quo, revolutionising the legal landscape for rental industry professionals with its practical, straightforward, and affordable legal solutions.”

It claims three unique selling points.

Firstly it will cover a wide range of service from debt recovery and legal support for landlords, to trespassing and tenant eviction, and offer fixed-fee services in some cases. 

Secondly it claims to use experienced legal professionals with over 35 years of combined experience. And thirdly it will be what it calls “client centric” claiming the clients “can rely on their expertise to navigate the complexities of the legal process and achieve favourable outcomes.”
