Franchisee doubles rental stock by acquiring nearby branch

Long-standing Hunters franchisee Adrian Lawrence has grown his lettings business by a massive 200% after acquiring the portfolio of nearby Hunters Sidcup.

The Sidcup office, run for a decade by Mark and Amanda Dawson, has now closed, with Lawrence’s team in Bromley taking on responsibility for their portfolio.

Lawrence - who has owned the Bromley and Chislehurst branch for eight years and has more than three decades of experience in the area - says: “An acquisition was certainly something I was keen on and being able to take on the portfolio of a fellow Hunters office really worked very well for the branch at this time.

“There’s only a very small distance between Sidcup and Bromley and with both branches being under the same brand, it was a great match for me as a first acquisition. I’m looking forward to welcoming our new landlords into the fold.”

He says he will bolster his team in Bromley, which now offers sales, lettings management and block management.

Hunters’ Managing Director Rob Smith adds: “Adrian’s experience in the Bromley, Chislehurst and Sidcup area is second to none. His new landlord clients will get huge benefits from all of that knowledge and expertise, as well as the same incredible service and processes they’ve become used to with Hunters Sidcup.”
