Lorraine Webber is to join Let Alliance and will take up the position of sales manager in February.

She is currently on gardening leave following her exit from Homelet after five years. She is the highest performing sales professional in the Homelet business for 2013.

The moves sees Webber team up with former Homelet boss John Boyle who recently joined the Let Alliance executive team, and also CEO Andy Halstead who led the Homelet business for five years.

Webber said: “I am delighted to be joining a fast-growing, privately owned business that has the customer at the heart of everything it does.

“Let Alliance works exclusively with letting agents and brokers and has been developed based on customers’ needs.

“When I met with Andy and John it was clear that this is a fantastic opportunity for me to work in a business that makes decisions without unhelpful bureaucracy. I have been given the scope to develop my role and grow with Let Alliance”

Halstead said the Let Alliance business is going from strength to strength, with recent account wins including Thornley Groves of Manchester, and Woods Estates of Bristol.

Thornley Groves were hardly an account win. Halstead's other business venture bought them as part of their bid to "consolidate the UK lettings market". Same goes with several other large agents. I'm all for businesses doing well and shouting about it, but why not choose an actual win to talk about?

Lorraine is a top quality professional who knows the letting agent market place and Let Alliance has a great proposition; Simples……

@BS Hound you are ill-informed at best.

These pages are for news and industry debate, not for unfounded criticism or personal agenda.

    Of course,

Envious of the groundbreaking Insurance solutions she now has at her disposal.

Envious of the intuitive online facilities she will offer future clients..

Envious of the unique route to market she will now take advantage of...........

..........Oh wait, none of the above apply to Let alliance, and if they did, Lorraine wouldn't know what to do with them anyway.

Good luck Lorraine, you will need it.

I never thought I would see Lorraine Webber and Top sales performer in the same sentence together, unless the words 'outdone by' were separating them.

If this is what she said to get the Job, she will fit in well with the likes of Halstead.
