Acquisitive Leaders has snapped up a lettings business right on its original home turf.

Leaders, which started as a single office in Brighton, has acquired The Letting Shop with branches in Worthing and Rustington, West Sussex. Leaders has also opened a new branch in Littlehampton, Sussex.

Letting Shop founder Arthur Richards said: “Following my decision to retire, I spent the last six to nine months looking for a suitable person or company to take over from me and give fresh energy and inspiration for the future, whilst at the same time upholding the high standards that I have set.

“This was not an easy task in today’s business environment, with all the strains the recession is putting on everyone.

“I talked with four companies over this period, each one unable to meet one or other of my criteria. Fortunately I found Leaders and feel comfortable with the sale of my business to them.”

All staff will transfer to Leaders.
