Yorkshire residential letting specialists Linley & Simpson has stepped up the pace of its expansion programme after its second acquisition in a month.

The independent agency, which operates nine branches across West and North Yorkshire, has taken over the property portfolio of the north Leeds-based Castle Estates for an undisclosed sum.

The move follows the acquisition of Carrington Property Management in June.

Director Will Linley said: “We are proud of our independent roots and that we are still able to expand in the face of more and more of the bigger corporates looking for opportunities to extend their own market share.

“We will continue to explore opportunities for further expansion across new and existing areas in our Yorkshire heartland, particularly where rental portfolios form a natural fit to our branch network and complement our own market expertise.”

Linley & Simpson is based in Harrogate, Ripon, Wetherby, York, Ilkley, Wakefield, Horsforth, Roundhay and Leeds.
