Yorkshire agent Linley & Simpson has added to its network of nine branches by taking over Carrington Property Management for an undisclosed sum.

Carrington is a family firm which counts the Ministry of Defence and American government personnel among its clients.

Linley & Simpson director Will Linley said: “This acquisition is a natural step forward for us as we look to continue our programme of strategic expansion, both across our heartland as well as into new areas.

“We are delighted to augment our growing portfolio of properties with those previously managed by Carrington’s.

“It will add an extra dimension to our business, giving tenants a wider choice of property and offering new landlords access to an unrivalled database across our nine Yorkshire offices.”

Linley & Simpson has offices in Harrogate, Ripon, Wetherby, York, Ilkley, Wakefield, Horsforth, Roundhay and Leeds city centre.
