Just Landlords’ Landlord Hero Competition – Ask Your Tenants to Nominate You!

There are plenty of helpful and reliable professionals in the letting industry, however it’s no secret that there are a lot of issues with untrustworthy landlords and letting agents. Negative opinions make up the majority of the stories we hear about tenants’ experiences when renting.

The issue is that many are much quicker to complain than they are to praise, resulting in a lot of positivity going unheard of. That is why Just Landlords, the specialist landlord insurers, is holding its Landlord Hero competition. They want people who rent to get in touch with tales of why they have a good relationship with their landlord or letting agent. This can be anything at all, from as little as a welcoming note and a vase of flowers when they first moved in.

Members of the Just Landlords team will judge the competition, and they will be looking out for unique entries that highlight the humanity of the letting industry.

In order to enter, all you have to do is share your account either in the form of a blog post, or on Facebook or Twitter. If you do decide to go down the route of posting your entry as a blog, then you will have to share a link on your Facebook or Twitter account using the hashtag #LandlordHero and tagging in @JustLandlords for your submission to be accepted. Otherwise, make sure to include the same hashtag and tag in your Facebook or Twitter entry.

It is worth considering encouraging the tenants you work with to enter, as it would essentially be free publicity of your quality service. If you are confident in the service you provide, then you have nothing to lose.

There are prizes up for grabs, as an incentive to both you and the tenant. The first prize is two £250 Amazon vouchers, one for the tenant who has entered, and one for their nominated landlord or letting agent. The second place winner will receive a £100 Amazon voucher, while the third place winner will receive a £50 Amazon voucher.
