Martin & Co, one of the UK's largest agency franchises, says it is preparing to open new offices in Plymouth and Edinburgh after recording a 24 per cent surge in revenue last year.
The company, which remains heavily skewed towards lettings, says it recorded an eight per cent increase in franchise management service fees but a 24 per cent rise in overall revenue, from £4.1m to £5.1m.
Its total of tenanted managed properties increased from 30,623 to 32,210 at Martin & Co itself and to around 43,000 across the enlarged group - that includes 14 new franchises recruited last yeasr, plus new offices in Inverness, Guisborough, Sunderland, Fitzrovia and Wilmslow.
The Martin & Co estate agency business increased from 90 offices to 152.
