Romans has announced another acquisition, this time expanding its network into Oxfordshire with the takeover of Henley-on-Thames agency Jacksons Residential.

This is now Romans' 21st branch following the opening of its Farnham and Sunningdale offices earlier this year. Romans has acquired the entire Jacksons lettings and sales activities.

I see Jacksons' new relationship with Romans as a natural progression for our company and the best possible way to provide our many loyal customers with the best and most up-to-date services says Jacksons' founder Richard Jackson.

Jacksons' staff and branding will be retained but the business will use Romans' IT, training and marketing.

Romans was bought by its management team, backed by Bowmark Capital, in 2013 and has since acquired numerous sales and lettings businesses.

Romans' expansion is supported by a £12m finance facility from its bankers and it says it is consistently looking to expand into new locations alongside its 21 existing branches in Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey and now, Oxfordshire.
