Insurance company Giles has appointed Carlos Thompson as managing director of its private rental sector.
He joins from Endsleigh Insurance, part of Zurich, where he spent more than 20 years.
Brendan McManus, chief executive of Giles, said: “Carlos has an outstanding reputation in the market place and his success in creating and establishing the EndsleighLet model for letting agents has been impressive.
“Carlos is a valuable addition to the team at Giles as the group moves into the buoyant letting agent market. This will also complement the group’s position in the estate agent market.”
Established in 1967, Giles Insurance is a top five independent UK insurance broker with a national footprint of 45 offices and over 1,100 employees.
