Redbrick Tenant Assessment, part of the Paragon Group, is to cease trading. It offered tenancy checking and insurances to both agents and landlords.
But a spokeswoman denied it had gone into liquidation, although she could give no reason for the discontinuation of the service.
Redbrick’s message was that its objective was to eliminate as far as possible the risk of letting a property to an unsuitable tenant. It said it had credit assessment facilities second to none in terms of predictive accuracy and speed of service.
Paragon, one of Britain’s largest buy-to-let lenders, was a founder member of the ARLA buy-to-let panel.
Callers to Redbrick are being told that the service is at end.

I've got a lovely silver Ford focus for sale, 2 years old only £7000. Anybody interested?
LAT, I assume its okay to sell on your news articles now?
Would no way trust Let Alliance as they can not spell properly so what faith would any right minded person have in their ability to everything else right???????????????
Just another bunch of amateurs perhaps?
Help me out chaps, what's wrong with opening the door to potential new customers if they are forced to look for a new partner?
Growing businesses is about taking professional advantage whenever the opportunity arises.
Let Alliance serves letting agents well.
Agreed JBoyle. LAT admin, can you not stop such opportunistic sales pap. It is an insult to your readers intelligence.
LetAlliance you really are comedy gold, keep up the jokes guys.
We (Let Alliance) have been receiving calls from Letting Agents who currently use Redbrick and over the past couple of days have arranged new agencies for these agents to start placing their referencing, rent guarantee and buildings & contents insurace via Let Alliance.
Why not take a look at our website and contact us for more information... with Nil Excess Rent Guarnatee including free tenant and free gurantor references from just £35 for 6 months (£60 for 12 months) we could be your perfect fit.
Please note that Redbrick are not affiliated to FCC Paragon. The Paragon Group mentioned in this article is not the tenant referencing company, FCC Paragon. FCC Paragon is still trading successfully and our agents can be reassured that we are NOT Redbrick so our services continue to be offered. We can also assist any existing Redbrick agents who now find themselves without a tenant referencing provider.
