Redbrick Tenant Assessment, part of the Paragon Group, is to cease trading. It offered tenancy checking and insurances to both agents and landlords.

But a spokeswoman denied it had gone into liquidation, although she could give no reason for the discontinuation of the service.

Redbrick’s message was that its objective was to eliminate as far as possible the risk of letting a property to an unsuitable tenant. It said it had credit assessment facilities second to none in terms of predictive accuracy and speed of service.

Paragon, one of Britain’s largest buy-to-let lenders, was a founder member of the ARLA buy-to-let panel.

Callers to Redbrick are being told that the service is at end.

Please note that Redbrick are not affiliated to FCC Paragon. The Paragon Group mentioned in this article is not the tenant referencing company, FCC Paragon. FCC Paragon is still trading successfully and our agents can be reassured that we are NOT Redbrick so our services continue to be offered. We can also assist any existing Redbrick agents who now find themselves without a tenant referencing provider.
