Lettingwebsite statistics, published on a weekly basis, can be used to determine trends in the residential letting market from year to year or season to season.

So far up to May 6th 2012:

·        tenant enquiries have risen by 6.41% on last year;

·        our site has had an increase of 20.17% visitors on last year;

·        we’ve had an increase of 23.42% in unique visitors per property on last year;

·        and we’ve had an increase in 44.94% in enquiries per property.

There is likely to be some seasonal influence on these figures; for example as the university year comes to an end, students will likely be looking for new flats to rent for the following academic year. These figures also give some explanation as to the drop in average number of days before letting, due to more enquiries and property views.
