Is this the first glimpse of easyProperty

What appears to be a work-in-progress home page for the new easyProperty lettings service, expected to launch in the near future, has been sent to Letting Agent Today.

The page suggests easyProperty will be more than merely a website advertising homes to let, in the now-familiar basic format seen with some online offerings.

Instead it looks more like a site providing some of the range of management services associated with a letting agency.

We received this page through a link sent to LAT by email. It takes us to what appears to be a development site for the new service. easyGroup has so far declined to comment about the page.

The homepage - part of which is reproduced on the screen-grab shown below - promises 0% commission for landlords and has symbols and links to "how it works" and "we'll list your property on the biggest portals" with logos for Rightmove and Zoopla.

More unusually it then has a section saying "You only pay for what you need" with different services and symbols - Professional Photography, Floorplans, Rightmove listing, Zoopla listing, EPC Certificates and Gas Safety Certificates. There are also links for "more information" and "Visit The Knowledge Hub".

The links are not live on the development site page visited by LAT.

There is still no confirmed date for easyProperty to launch. It is known it will eventually include sales as well as lettings but earlier statements from the company and its advertising team suggest it will begin life later this summer as a lettings service prior to entering sales too.

easyGroup lists 23 different companies on its own official public website, with easyProperty at the top.

Meanwhile the easyProperty brand's own website still says it is "coming soon" and an advertising agency is known to have been selected - a sign within the promotional industry that space will shortly be booked to publicise the new service.
