North east England operator Pattinson Estate Agency is taking over another local rival firm.
It’s acquired NS Bennett Estate Agents, in Stanley, and the news comes just months after its takeover of Ryedales Estate Agency in Cramlington, and Browns in Stockton and Norton.
This takes the Pattinson branch network to 28 as well as an HQ and regional call centre just outside of Newcastle.
Group managing director Justin Beckwith says: “This is another great addition for us as a company as a whole, as well as for our sales, lettings and commercial departments. This 28th branch gives us a presence in Stanley central. I would like to welcome the team from NS Bennetts, and founder and owner Stephen Bennett is assisting with the transition before enjoying his retirement.”
Founded in July 1977, Pattinsons has grown from one office with one man selling three properties, to 28 offices across the North East, with almost 300 members of staff. Pattinsons haas residential, commercial, auction, property management, financial services and conveyancing departments.
In 2020 its national auction network moved online for live bidding, and boasts 3,500 national partner agents.
