Nick Leeming has joined the Belvoir board of directors as a non-executive director.

The highly respected Leeming has over 30 years’ experience in the property sector, having co-founded Propertyfinder in 1996 – the first of the UK’s property portals.

Following Propertyfinder’s acquisition by Zoopla in 2009 he spent nearly three years as their business development director until leaving last August.

Belvoir CEO Dorian Gonsalves said: “We are delighted to welcome Nicholas to the Belvoir board.

“We asked him to join Belvoir because we knew that his immense knowledge of the industry, his public profile and strategic vision would help us to achieve our goals in the coming years.”

Leeming was a practising chartered surveyor and agent for over 15 years before founding Propertyfinder, and was a partner in Humberts. He is also a recipient of a lifetime achievement award.

Leeming said: “In terms of what I can bring to the Belvoir board, I have considerable experience in the application of online marketing and technology, which is crucial to the long-term success of any business nowadays. I think this is where I can add real value to the future growth of Belvoir.”
