Property portal Zoopla has signed a long-term deal with local newspaper owners Archant to power its online property channel, homes24.co.uk
Archant publishes over 60 local and regional newspapers including daily titles such as the Eastern Daily Press and weekly titles such as the Ham & High, plus 80 regional magazine titles including Cotswold Life and Devon Life, and over 200 websites.
Under the terms of the deal, Archant will make a significant investment in the promotion of the homes24.co.uk brand, relaunching it in March, while Zoopla will operate the website.
Zoopla said the deal means that agents and developers who advertise with Zoopla will get wider distribution for their listings and brands via homes24.co.uk
