Letting agent foils armed robbers - police appeal for help

The owner of a Leeds lettings agent fought back when masked men armed with a hammer, baton and metal bar raided his business.

Three men wearing balaclavas and high-visibility jackets attacked the man at Catlows on Dewsbury Road, Beeston, and demanded he open the safe.

The Yorkshire Evening Post now reports that West Yorkshire Police said the victim fought back and the men fled empty-handed.
