Lettings gurus head first Women in Estate Agency conference

The Women In Estate Agency group is holding its first conference in London in March, where lettings industry gurus will be amongst the key speakers in front of 200 delegates. 

Founded by agents Liana Loporto-Browne and Clare Hughes WiEA describes itself as a “highly engaged, close-knit community that supports and champions its members as they face day-to-day practical and emotional challenges on their road to success.”

The conference will be a chance for attendees to spend time with peers and hear from industry-leading speakers. The keynote speaker is confirmed as Joanna Swash – the group chief executive of Moneypenny – who will be sharing how she climbed and reached the heights of the career ladder.

Loporto-Brown says: “We are determined to break down barriers to true equality and see women succeed and thrive in their careers. Our agenda is a jam-packed schedule of engaging presentations and panel discussions from outstanding businesswomen. Topics include empowering personal stories, women’s mental and physical wellbeing, harnessing the power of social media, managing menopause in the workplace, safety in the workplace, dealing with adversity, climbing the career ladder, and financial health and security.“

Along with Loporto-Browne and Hughes, the WiEA Advisory Board includes Sarah Edmundson (chief executive of Agents Together);  Sarah Davies (commercial director of The Letting Partnership); Lucy Noonan (owner of the Atomic Consultancy); Verona Frankish (chief executive of Yopa); Clare Yates (owner of CY Training); Kirsty Franks (owner, Kirsty Franks Marketing); and the business and wellbeing mentor Elle Wood.
