Another London agency appoints new head of lettings division

Prime London agency Russell Simpson has announced Ed Woolgar as its new head of lettings, after 18 years of work in residential lettings.

Woolgar was previously senior associate director at Strutt & Parker’s Chelsea office, where he acted as lettings director for South Kensington.

Prior to that he was an associate director at Chestertons where he was the lead lister for South Kensington, Chelsea, Earls Court and Knightsbridge, and earlier still was the residential lettings director at Harrods Estates where he once generated a £200,000 letting fee for a single instruction, which was a record for the company.

Woolgar says: “The move will enable me to utilise my years of experience in prime Central London to grow the lettings offering and support the well-established team. I look forward to working with Russel Simpsons’ impressive client base to find and let properties of distinction.”

And company managing director Alan Russell adds: “Ed is taking over from our previous head of lettings, Charlie Woods, who has done an exceptional job of growing our team over the past five years. We look forward to welcoming Ed to now expand our lettings offering further by utilising his wealth of experience operating in our key prime Central London areas.”
