Belvoir agents have access to private rental licensing data

Franchise giant Belvoir is the latest agency group to sign a deal with geospatial technology firm Kamma.

The partnership will offer all 340 offices access to Kamma’s 24/7 licence compliance services to help them keep up to date with new licensing regulations.

Nearly 50 new schemes and consultations have launched throughout the UK in 2023 so far. Fines for rogue landlords in London alone have also surpassed £9.8 million, and are on track to reach £10 million before the end of the year.

Belvoir will also have access to Kamma's Reporter service, a product that allows letting agents generate a report on a property’s characteristics, including its EPC and licensing requirements, to help win instructions and improve the overall customer experience.

Belvoir is one of the largest franchised property groups in the UK, supporting a network of 487 offices across six brands, specialising in residential lettings, property sales and property-related financial services. It operates through two divisions: a network of property franchisees and a network of financial advisers.

As Kamma chief executive Orla Shields explains: “Belvoir Group are known for their strong foothold in the property market and this partnership will help Belvoir stay on top of their licensing requirements, all whilst saving them time and protecting them against the risk of fines.”

Belvoir’s Group Operations Director Grace Milham adds: "We’re excited to be partnering with Kamma and offer their licensing compliance services to our agents. This partnership will help to increase standards in the private rented sector and remove complexity for our agents, allowing them to focus on providing an excellent service to their clients."
