Lavanda, a student lettings property management tech supplier, has announced a partnership with UPP, a student accommodation provider working in partnership with 15 UK universities.
The technology gives UPP the opportunity to run flexible rental and short-stay programmes during the summer months, complementing existing programmes such as summer schools, conferences and events.
The platform will enable UPP to manage reservations, and automate check-ins and check-outs.
The Lavanda partnership will initially operate in Nottingham and Swansea and allow UPP’s partners to offer short stays across a portfolio of 816 units.
Matt Burton, executive director of partnerships at UPP, says: "UPP is committed to maximising occupancy in support of our partners in and out of term time. For UPP it is vital that accommodation is utilised as effectively and sustainably as possible. We are delighted to partner with Lavanda to enhance our clients' summer short-stay offerings. Our partnership will allow us to deliver a seamless guest experience, from reservation to check-out, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay whilst maximising the use of buildings over the summer months."
