Over £2,150 pcm for new Build To Rent scheme

A new Build To Rent scheme launches in Manchester this summer with the first residents moving in during June.

The Castings is a 352 unit scheme just behind Manchester Piccadilly train station.

The development is owned by CDL Hospitality Trust (CDLHT), which also owns Manchester hotel The Lowry, and has studio, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom flats.

The prices for the new build-to-rent scheme start from £1150 per month for a studio apartment, £1250 for a 1-bed apartment, £1525 per month for a 2-bed and £2175 for a 3-bed apartment.

The development will feature a yoga room and gym, games room, private dining spaces and a work area. At ground floor level there are three retail units ranging from 400 square feet to 3,000 square feet. No occupiers have been named for the units.

The Castings is in a neighbourhood called 0”Piccadilly East, close to established locations such as Ancoats, New Islington and the Northern Quarter.

The first residents can view the flats in May and move in the following month.
