Spicerhaart Lettings has created The Centre of Excellence, a new centralised property management support team that it says will release local staff to spend more time with landlords and tenants.
The new team, led by head of compliance and pre-tenancy, Sian Lewis, will handle administration and compliance for the business. This will enable local property managers to instead focus on rent collection, repairs, property visits and reducing voids, as well as building relationships with tenants.
Kelly-Anne Flynn, managing director of property management and lettings operations at Spicerhaart, said: “Landlords want peace of mind that their property, income and tenants are being properly looked after.
Freeing up local teams
“By centralising compliance and administration, we’re freeing up our local teams to focus on what really matters – being visible, responsive and proactive in managing properties and supporting landlords.

“We didn’t want a fully centralised model where you lose local accountability, or a fragmented one where teams are stretched too thin. This gives us both specialist support and dedicated property managers on the ground.”
Spicerhaart CEO Antony Lark said the restructure allowed for closer relationships to be built. “We know that landlords value strong local relationships, where trust and confidence are built through regular, personal contact.
“This strategy creates a modern operating structure that handles increasing regulatory demands while allowing our local teams to deliver a responsive, hands-on service to our customers.”
