Deposit alternative service Reposit is now available to tenants renting through major regional letting agency Lang Llewellyn & Co.

The new partnership will see Reposit offered across the agency’s portfolio of around 1,000 rental properties in Cornwall. 

Rhiannon Llewellyn from Lang Llewellyn & Co says: “We’ve seen Reposit grow over the years, and following a review of our suppliers, it stood out as the right partner for us. As an agent with a sizeable student portfolio, we wanted a faster end-of-tenancy process, combined with greater choice for tenants.” 

And Zoë Murphy, partnership sales associate at Reposit, adds: “We’re pleased to be working with Lang Llewellyn & Co to make Reposit available across its large portfolio in the South West. Student renters are often significantly impacted by the high upfront costs when moving home, so offering a lower-cost way to secure a tenancy can make a real difference.”

Eligible tenants can secure their tenancy with Reposit by paying a non-refundable fee equivalent to one week’s rent (split between all tenants), rather than providing a five-week upfront deposit which is now averaging £1,351. 

This is subject to successful referencing or the provision of a UK-based guarantor.
