Agents are being invited to a free event to discuss digital reforms in the home renting and buying process.

It’s run by a group called the ICG Community, which describes itself as an “umbrella brand bringing agents, suppliers and talent together across the property industry … [helping] agents cut through the noise, learn from peers and connect with trusted technology and service suppliers.”

Agents will have the opportunity to question conveyancing solicitor and innovation strategist Sally Holdway, co-founder of Home Owner’s Passport and sale and purchase lead at the Residential Logbook Association.

A second session, led by Katy Billany of CompleteASAP and SJ Taylor of GreenhouseOS, will examine why improving cash flow starts at the valuation, including asking price strategy, pipeline management, flexible fee models, referral income and ways to reduce transaction delays.

Iain White, founder of ICG, says: “This isn’t about sitting through a day of sales pitches. If an agent gives us a day of their time, they should go back to the office knowing what they need to prepare for, where money may be getting stuck in their business and what they can do differently.”

Attendees will have one-to-one access to around 20 PropTech and service suppliers through ICG Community’s Meet the Innovators format.

The event – called Get Ready, Get Paid, Get Growing – is on Tuesday October 13 at a science exhibition centre called We The Curious in central Bristol.

It’s free for estate and letting agents to attend, with advance registration required.
