Belvoir Lettings has launched a new design for its 148 offices and simultaneously launched a training academy.

The new academy is the result of a partnership with the Guild of Lettings and Management.

Two online industry-recognised accredited courses are being made available – the BTEC Advanced Certificate in Residential Letting (level 3) and the BTEC Professional Diploma in Residential Letting and Management (level 4). They will supplement a further 20-plus courses already on offer to Belvoir franchise owners and their staff.

Belvoir’s new look was handled by premises manager Emma Greenfield, with a creative design team.

Features include a browsing bar with an iPad where tenants can be shown available properties, zoom into the images and receive the details directly from email.

Similarly, staff can take the iPad out on to property appraisals and log it on directly to the Belvoir database during the viewing.

The design was successfully piloted in the company-owned Belvoir Grantham shop in April and since then many Belvoir offices have rebranded. The new look is now being rolled out across the entire network.

However, Belvoir won’t be using the new design for its own headquarters, a former courthouse and police station dating back to 1820, where original features include grilles on the heavy inner doors of former cells.

The firm opened the doors of this magnificent building to the public, giving guided tours, coffee and cakes in return for a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support.
