The maintenance page guides them through the proper way to submit a ticket, including selecting an issue, uploading photos and describing the problem so you have everything you need to get contractors booked and repairs underway.

From there, each maintenance ticket is automatically added to the correct property on PayProp. New tickets appear on your PayProp dashboard and on each ticket, you and your team can add notes or send messages to the tenant, letting them know when someone will come to fix the issue – all without leaving PayProp.

Painless contractor payments

Once the repairs are complete, automation can also take care of the payment admin. Thanks to technology from PadBoss, your contractor can simply e-mail their PDF invoice to a special e-mail address. Once the invoice is received, PadBoss OCR technology will automatically read the invoice and extract key data including dates, amounts and descriptions. Once you've reviewed and approved the invoice, it is added to PayProp in one click and ready for payment.

This easy process not only reduces the risk of errors that can occur with manual data entry, but also saves time and effort on handling countless contractor invoices every month. Contractor invoices are also automatically added to payment instructions, so when a landlord checks the Owner app to see what the payment was for, they can see the original contractor invoice too.

Once the work is done and the contractor has been paid simply close the ticket, which will archive it in case it is needed later.
