A record 30,000 surveys have been submitted to the organisers of The ESTAS awards on the performance of estate and letting agencies in 2015.
This is a 20 per cent increase on the previous year, and confirms The ESTAS as one of the largest awards events anywhere in the residential industry.
The ESTAS organisers revealed the record figures when unveiling the shortlist for this year’s awards ceremony to be held in London on Friday April 15.
The ESTAS, sponsored by Zoopla Property Group, highlight great service provided by different firms involved in the residential property sector. Firms are ranked purely on feedback from customers when completing The ESTAS online customer service surveys.
“We’re delighted at the record number which is a clear sign that The ESTAS are recognised as perhaps the highest recognition of customer service in our industry” says the founder of the awards, Simon brown.
“Any firm that enters The ESTAS has already sent a clear message that it is passionate about customer service so to make it on to one of the shortlists is a huge achievement” he says.
“This year there are new categories for conveyancers, mortgage brokers and developers in addition to those for estate and letting agencies. So The ESTAS now recognises the best firms across the whole of residential property sector.”
Angels Media chief executive Nat Daniels - publisher of Estate and Letting Agent Today and provider of ValPal - says: “These record figures show just how far the ESTAS have come, they also demonstrate how keen clients are to provide feedback after using an estate or letting agent.
"Client feedback provides agents with a useful way of measuring up to their competitors as well as highlighting how they can improve their service in the future. It's always pleasing to see how genuinely pleased agents - and suppliers - are to pick up an ESTAS award and we're very excited for this year's biggest ever event at the new venue."
Location, Location, Location star Phil Spencer presides over the prizegiving on Friday April 15 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London where 1,000 of the UK’s top property professionals will be gathered.
