Independent snaps up rival to have total 2,500 homes on its books

Tunbridge Wells independent Alexandre Boyes has snapped up the lettings and sales book of Edenbridge agency Foxwood Maclean.

First established in 1877 as Fox & Manwaring, FoxWood Maclean is the oldest firm of estate agents and chartered surveyors covering Edenbridge and the surrounding areas.

Alexandre Boyes opened its doors almost 20 years ago and now manages over 2,500 properties between its lettings and estate management business.

“It’s been well reported that increasing legislation is impacting the residential sales and letting market, but we embrace change.  We see it as a genuine opportunity for us as an independent, firm to demonstrate our quality and local insight” says Kate Boyes, Alexandre Boyes group director.
